Autocensure (Self-censorship) is a gesture which consists in covering a graffiti just after having painted it.
Jiem L’Hostis and Mathieu Tremblin ofently get the same feeling of desecration having put their mark around when they’re the first ones to enter a place. As if the graffiti affected the magic, wasn’t the good tribute to the memory of the former occupants. Autocensure (Self-censorship) seems sometimes the only way to recover lost virginity once the heinous crime accomplished. Back into anonymity and silence, the site looks even more mysterious for the next visitor.

Autocensure est un geste qui consiste à recouvrir un graffiti après l’avoir réalisé.
Jiem L’Hostis et Mathieu Tremblin ont souvent ce sentiment de profanation après avoir posé un blaze lorsque ils sont les premier à pénétrer un lieu. Comme si le graffiti altérait la magie, était un hommage inadapté à la mémoire des anciens occupants. L’Autocensure semble parfois la seule manière de recouvrer la virginité perdue une fois le forfait exutoire accompli. Replongé dans l’anonymat et le mutisme, le site n’en est que plus mystérieux pour le prochain visiteur.
