The principle of Hypertag is to focus on some graffiti writer, and to replace his signature or pieces with a readable version of his nickname composed at the same size of the original tag in classic web font underlined and colored in blue, like the hypertext link which can be found by default on the internet.

Hypertag point the fact that people could discover some intimate walk through the city if they could read and follow a singular tag as a link from one wall to another, and by analogy as a link that allow you to browse from one page to another on the Internet.

Le principe d’Hypertag est d’identifier la calligraphie d’un tagueur et de remplacer chaque signature, tag ou graff, par une traduction de son pseudonyme composé dans une typographie bleu écran soulignée, correspondant au style par défaut du lien hypertexte utilisé sur Internet.

Hypertag pointe la possibilité pour les passants de pister le parcours graffitique du tagueur de mur en mur, par analogie comme un lien qui vous amène à naviguer d’une page à l’autre sur Internet.
