Red Dots.

2013. Bruxelles (BE).
Red cutted paper, glue, brush, anonymous graffiti writing. Various sizes.

Since art dealers started to steal artworks directly in the streets for saling them in art fairs, it seems that there’s no way to escape to capitalism, whenever writers or artists were producing freely uncommissionned art in urban space, in order to act outside of the market of art. In the context of Art Brussels, RED DOTS appear as anonymous uncommissioned works selected for their remarkable quality and marked with red dots as if they were already sold.

Production : Tchikebe.
